‘Listen to your
daughters’

The TSPTR zine project was my first live client brief and the aim was to create, publish and exhibit a zine that celebrates the brand TSPTR and their brand values. The final outcome would be be featured within the brands spring/summer 2022 journal. My team and I developed a zine named ‘listen to your daughters’ which highlights issues surrounding sexual harassment and casual sexism that after conducting some primary and secondary research, we found most women face daily, most days.
The Zine informally introduces a predominantly male audience to the reality of being a woman in a hypersexualised society.The zine aims to educate this demographic, whilst delivering the information from a point of view close to home for many of the zines intended readers.This approach was intended to be a little raw in order to stimulate the readers emotionally as well as further educate.The zine aesthetic takes a tactile form, exploring the mixture of physical and digital content.
